      My client, a leading debt purchaser and financial service provider based in Caerphilly, are looking for an IT Support Engineer to start ASAP on a 6 month basis.You will be responsible for the smooth functioning of infrastructure and operational environments that support applications and sysems, some of your main responsibilities will include -Maintaining a ticket system for all infrastructure queries and escalationsUndertake problem management, find the root course and ressolve the issue within a timely matterBuild, monitor, maintain and support infrastructure including servers, backup solutions, data, storage, firewalls etcEssential Skillis:Microsoft Cloud technologies (Azure, CBA, MFA, Teams)Experience of remote desktops such as Citrix Desktop and VDIVirtualisation technology experience (VMWare)Previous experience working in an IT role implementing change and projects withing a busy IT team to support technical solutionsExperience in WintelDesirable Skils:Proven ability to work under pressureA strong team playerStrong organisation and prioritisation skills to ensure work is completed on timeSelf-motivated, punctual, and flexible in your approach to workCommitment to personal development and keeping up to date with current industry trends, technologies and best practicesThe successfull candidate will receive a competetive rate between £300-£400 per day outside IR35, depending on experience.If you are interested and available, please apply via the ad or email nicole.newman@randstad.co.ukPlease be advised we cannot offer sponsership.Randstad Technologies is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
