        Are you an experienced shunter driver looking for your next role within a large global brand? Our client manufactures, distributes, sells and markets some of the world's strongest brands in non-alcoholic beverages. It is a leading Western European marketer, distributor, and producer of bottles and can non-alcoholic refreshment.Our client, based in Outwood, Wakefield are looking for a number of shunter drivers to join our team with immediate startsKey Responsibilities:Keeping work flowing on and off loading bays achieving productivity targetsGood communication with Control Tower as well as RCI and Resource staffGood Team Working with other shunter drivers and FLT drivers and YardmanTakes ownership of the yard - Monitoring and observing Haulier/Contractor and pedestrian activity and question anything observed against site rulesFlexibility with break times (three (3) Shunters operating means running a three (3) break system )Reporting sub-standard conditions (Trailers/Loading Bays/Bay Separators/Roadways etc.)Conduct accurate trailer checksPre use inspecting and defecting carried out correctlyShunter units refuelled for oncoming shift ( Minimum 50 litres )What we want from you:All drivers must have a strong understanding of Health and Safety process and be able to work as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
