In addition to Print Mail Centre duties this role includes additional activities covering both help desk and inter-site van runs. Williams Lea CCM operate a daily help-desk on behalf of the bank, dealing with bank department requests including booking deliveries and collections along with general queries. This role will support the help-desk team during busy periods and in times of absence.Williams Lea CCM operate a daily collection/ delivery service between Leeds and Gosforth, Newcastle and an additional run in the local Leeds area, incorporating a daily pickup from Rotherham. This role will require the successful applicant to cover either of these runs during driver absence. This is a "hand's on" position which requires a good level of computer literacy relating to the use of Excel, Word, Adobe and various other applications. The operator is responsible for their overall performance against set objectives and rates of efficiency. Examples of operator tasks include:Print composed documents enclosed in line with business rules for the document type. Quality check to ensure address fields meet the Royal Mail criteria, Quality check documents for accuracy of key fields within the documentUpdate daily MI at letter type level pack documents ensuring reconciliation is accurate Prepare manifest for mail handover to UK Mail / Royal Mail Undertake written and verbal communication with bank departmentsAbility to investigate issuesAbility to drive a van and deliver excellent customer service when on client sitesManual handling activities when loading, unloading and delivering during inter-site runsIn addition, all operators will be measured for quality of work and performance against Service Level Agreements. You will be required to set up and operate machines that shape fibreglass or other materials through the moulding process with the responsibility of setting-up equipment, loading materials and operating machinery preparing your machine for each production run.
