If the answer is yes, please keep reading.If you meet the below criteria we would love to speak to you :)You must feel confident in your ability in speaking to suppliers and chasing deliveriesBackground in making a high volume of outbound callsThrive in a fast paced environmentSystem savvyKey Responsibilities:Plan and schedule via MRP Exception MessagesManage Purchasing Master Data for the Commodity to ensure price and lead times are accurate maintainedChasing deliveriesCreate new part Request for QuotationsEnsure Purchase Orders (External and Intercompany) are placed in a timely manner to achieve request date and maintain customer satisfactionManage Purchase and Invoice Price Variance reports (PPV) for commodityVendor Expediting to maintain accurate delivery informationResolve Supplier Quality NotificationsRegular liaison with suppliers, stores and internal teamsSupport the communication of shipment delays and escalations as appropriateAbout you?Have experience in purchasing or similar in manufacturing industry (desirable)Confident in speaking to peopleProven experience chasing suppliers all over the worldWorked with 100s of parts and suppliersExperience dealing with a number of international suppliersCompetent in chasing deliveries (essential)You must have excellent attention to detailHave strong administrative experienceWell organised, self-motivated and work well under pressureExcellent verbal and written skillsEnjoy working in a fast paced environmentAbility to prioritiseThe Role£22,000 - £24,000 depending on experienceMonday - Thursday 8.30 am - 5.15 pm (1 hour for lunch) /Friday 8.30am - 5.00 pm (1 hour for lunch)Holidays 20 days + Bank Holidays & Christmas Shut Down (3 days)Company Pension SchemeParking on-siteOpportunity to progress and developTraining will be provided Interviews are taking placeApply today! :)Randstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
