      Operator Technician Production Are you looking to be part of one of the world's largest companies? Our client, based in East Kilbride, makes, sells and distributes some of the world's best loved non-alcoholic, ready-made beverages to over 300million customers across 13 countries; the site in East Kilbride produces 18 million cases of drinks per year! Our client is looking for an experienced Operator Technician to start as soon as possible. Purpose of the role: To complete preventative asset care and maintenance tasks to ensure machines within work area/production lines achieve the output required within quality, yield and waste targets to meet shift Production and Line Utilisation Plans. Your responsibilities will include; Routine machine maintenance and basic repairsCarrying out and recording quality checksMaintain and refill stock (packaging, bottle lids, preforms etc)Using route cause analysis to diagnose and escalate any faultsSupport Engineers to improve line reliabilityUphold Food Safety and Health And Safety RegulationsManual Handling Skills & Essentials: Strong communication skills Good eye for detail Ability to work under pressure and problem solveAble to work as part of a team or alone, with little supervisionAdaptable and flexible to change Experience required;Significant experience of working as an engineer, at least 5 yrs +. If not dual-skilled trained, will have gained practical experience in other work disciplinePrevious experience of working within a FMCG environment is desirableAll machine asset care tasks on a production lineComplex machine breakdowns and fault-findingCommissioning trials and tests for new equipmentTechnical training for other team members Pay rate; £14.57 per hour for the first 12 weeks then it increases to £18.21 Shifts hours vary; 06h00 - 18h00 then rotates to 18h00 - 06h00 (Continental shift pattern of 4 on and 4 off) Successful candidates will be given a comprehensive induction and full training.
