We have excellent pay rates and set shift patterns, in a clean and professional factory.You'll get paid weekly, scheduled shifts, paid holiday and training.APPLY TODAY!BenefitsWeekly pay and scheduled shiftsAccrue holiday pay.On site free car park and bike storage Health & safety training and supportAccess to benefits scheme which includes 100's of high street discounts and much more!Ongoing workPay rate and hours of work:£14 per hour07:00 to 15:30 Mon-Thurs and 07:00 to 12:30 Friday.Responsibilities:To provide a high quality, comprehensive, accurate and timely assembly of linear motion and assembly technology products to support the achievement of business objectives and the provision of superior service.To build and maintain a good working knowledge of linear motion and assembly technology products and their assembly methods, company products and services, customers and working practices, to perform the role efficiently and effectively.To contribute to the overall department objectives and plan by sharing information with others to enable them to fulfil their role.Using knowledge, information and skills in planning and working for the department.Sharing ideas and suggestions for improvements.To provide a comprehensive, proactive and effective assembly of business unit products by: Agreeing relevant individual/personal objectives, targets and success criteria for assigned activities and own area of work such as:Checking drawings and part lists and identifying correct tooling, components and materials required in order to complete assembly to agreed specification.Reading and interpreting engineering drawings ensuring assembly meets customer specifications and safety requirements.Assembling and fitting of components in line with drawings and specification, ensuring quality and safety requirements are met.Carrying out complete cleansing of components ensuring a clean and uncontaminated system.Carrying out the machining of profiles and components as requested.Completing all necessary paperwork (SAP, rectification sheets, stores requisitions, inspection records, job completion sheets) accurately and on time.Checking current stock levels and informing team leaders of any shortages or requirements.Providing constructive feedback to the design team on performance of drawings and design, recommending modifications where appropriate.Carrying out day to day housekeeping within area of work, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.Agreeing job requirements and competencies, participating in relevant training and development and asking for support as required.Monitoring and sharing own progress and addressing any changes, taking corrective action as required.Communicating regularly with other members of the department, ensuring continuous interaction and contribution to effective team working.To ensure the efficient and effective utilisation of financial and physical resources by:Maximising the use of available resources and avoiding waste.Adhering to standards, policies and procedures.Ensuring that own actions fit with and/or enhance others used in the department.Requirements:Must have experience in working in assembly.Working to time deadlines to keep the track moving at pace.Good communication skills and an understanding of verbal and written EnglishAttention to detailExcellent attendance levels and attitudeTo carry out other tasks that may be reasonably requested from time to time.To complete all tasks and objectives in accordance with customers' technical, quality and delivery requirements, standard company procedures and policies, Health and Safety requirements and industry Codes of Practice.Qualifications ONC Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Fitter - CraftHNC Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Fitter - Technician Working knowledge of Microsoft office productsSAP R3 or similar integrated system Apply now!
