The company have just been acquired by an international powerhouse within the food space and are continuing to progress, as they have done by circa 20% over the past few years. The successful candidate will have proven experience in leading ci initiatives, driving change management and improvement strategies across a large scale manufacturing unit. Ideally, you will have worked within food or FMCG manufacturing previously, but all backgrounds will be considered. You should have a strong understanding of continuous improvement and its tools/techniques, including; DMAIC, Kaizen & Centrelines. You should be able to influence and train team members on the importance of continuous improvement. Black belt trained (beneficial) Reporting in to the group manufacturing improvement manager & having direct reports of the site CI facilitator and Ambassadors, your overall objective will be to develop and set the continuous improvement strategy for the Blackpool site; create and deliver the 3 year manufacturing/ci excellence plan, continuously developing the CI systems and team to ensure adherence to the plan, working closely with other departments such as engineering and operations to deploy new initiatives and techniques, demonstrating role model behaviours to improve site culture and much more.
