    Do you support Families to overcome challenges?Are you a senior family support worker ?We are proud to be the first tier supplier into Monmouthshire County Council, we will provide you with unique opportunities first and keep you informed of all qualified and non-qualified assignments.Job PurposeSenior family support worker to work directly with children and families in the early help and assessment team Key ResponsibilitiesTo work within the Early Help and Assessment Team and support parents with their parenting skills to include undertaking direct work with children and supporting families with a variety of issues.To work in partnership with families and professionals and refer families to appropriate support services when necessary.Establish and maintain relationships with parents and encourage parents to relate positively to their Children/young people.Responsibility for formulating, implementing and reviewing care and support plans for children and their families.To work with colleagues from other agencies in delivering services to children and their families.If required, to co-ordinate and supervise contact for children to meet with their parents in a structured and positive manner.To record and measure outcomes of the work undertaken with children and families.To work with families for a time limited period.Keep accurate records of work with children and their families using a dedicated Children's Services database and to save relevant documents in specific digital filesSet time aside to prepare and participate in supervision with the line manager.
