    Are you a supervising social worker who'd love the opportunity to work for an Independent Fostering Agency which does NOT REQUIRE the completion of out of hours, form f's or skills to foster?If so we want to hear from you, as we are supporting an Independent Fostering Agency to recruit a Supervising Social Worker based in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging up to £36,000 depending on experience. The successful candidate will also be offered £175 car allowance, private health insurance & mileage paid at 0.45p per mile. Working from home is also available however, you will be required to travel for the role, and therefore a car and a valid driving license are essential to the role. Purpose of the role: -As a Supervising Social Worker you will be building positive relationships between the foster parent and the child's social worker. It is a key role that helps the foster parent to sustain the child in placement and ensure outcomes for children are being met within the foster family.-You will work closely with key stakeholders, to enable foster parents to be informed, accept, understand and operate within the regulations and national minimum standards and in accordance with policies and guidance.-The Supervision Social Worker role is a combination of monitoring and safeguarding onbehalf of the children as well as supervising and supporting foster parents in their role. Responsibilities: -Supervising and supporting foster parents and promoting the rights and safety of children placed with foster parents and managing cases.- Work as part of multi-disciplinary professional team around the child, this will include - attending meetings, completing reports and preparing assessments.- Provide effective support, information and advice to enable foster parents to provide consistent, high quality care to children.- To ensure matches of children place are made on defendable decisions.-Supporting foster parents with children achievements in education, learning and development whilst promoting equality and diversity.-To undertake and produce high quality assessments and reports.
