    Role: Residential Child Care - Area Manager Salary: £45,000-£50,000 DOE Location: Remote Working, Monthly Service Visits. The role involves: - Oversight of three residential houses and promoting the sector leading care package they provide- Building relationships with the managers and team, local community, local authorities and statutory bodies- Demonstrating leadership and management to the house managers and ensuring they are working towards the company ethos- Most importantly, ensuring the welfare and safety of young people at all times Person Specification: - SVQ 4 and HNC in social care or equivalent- Full UK driving license- Significant residential care experience- Supervisory and management experience- Trauma informed practice- Wide knowledge of the behaviours displayed by children and young people and an understanding od intervention strategies- Ability to take initiative and make improvements to servicesFlexible approach to working If you, or anyone you know are interested in this role, please do get in touch.
