This setting's mission is to help those individuals make life happen which is why your role as a support worker is vital. This setting has a long standing management and team and can offer career progression to those keen to take the next step in your career. This role is needed on a full time, permanent basis, based on rotational shifts. Applicants for this role must be available to do day, night (sleep in) and weekend shifts. This setting in question is situated local to Royston and supports approx. 1-8 children from the age of 6 years. This setting supports children with a Social Emotional Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH) diagnosis who are learning independence for life. This role is needed ASAP and is based on approx 40 hours a week. The homes work on a 14-day, rolling rota. Shifts include days, evenings and weekends, sleep ins are also required. Accommodation and meals are all provided, when on shift. For this role the successful candidate must have prior experience as a support worker ideally supporting children with SEMH previously. The existing team are passionate and dedicated and are invested in offering a safe and supportive environment for the children. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a setting where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where children are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible. This setting is invested in all their staff members and their training and development and is a fabulous setting to work in. Due to the location of this setting you must have your own transport.
