    Supporting our exclusive client, South Eastern Regional College, Randstad are actively seeking to recruit an experienced Training Support Officer to help deliver a high-quality placement and monitoring support service and pastoral care for trainees, supporting the provision of efficient and effective delivery of TfS/AppNI/Traineeship/HLA programmes.Benefits: Monday to Thursday 8.45 am to 5.00 pm and Friday 8.45 am to 3.30 pm. Hours may vary to suit the requirements of the post from time to timeCompetitive salary £13.85 per hour36 hours per week, 3 month contract with scope for extensionOn site parkingEnhanced holidays Requirements: Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification or equivalent;Have a minimum of 6 months' experience in a placement and monitoring, traineesupport or administrative role within a training environment;Have experience of working on a training or employment programme;Have a current driving licence and access to a car or have access to a form oftransport that will enable the post-holder to fulfil the role in full;Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills;Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills Responsibilities: As the main point of contact with parents/guardians, Careers services, Employersand other appropriate external agencies, be responsible for maintaining these relationships.Contribute to the recruitment, participate in College marketing initiatives including school visits, employer engagement activities and open dayAttend and update on the students' progress at regular formal meetings with academic and other relevant staff involved in the training processAdministrationProcess all the necessary documentation for trainees/clients, pertaining to TfS/AppNI/Traineeship/HLA programmes, including Participating PartnershipAgreements and Delivery Agreements within defined timescales.Collect and process examination certificates/results slips prior to entry.Monitor trainee/client progress in relation to the requirements of the occupational frameworks and targeted qualifications in order to ensure successful achievement for the trainee/client.Provide on-going induction for trainees to ensure awareness of correct procedures and requirements for their specific programme.Visit trainees/clients to an agreed schedule and complete trainee/client progress reviews within the prescribed time frame.Liaise with vocational and essential skills tutors to complete Personal TrainingPlans and input PTP information on to TMS within defined funding timescales.A more detailed job description can be obtained on request Randstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
