Given that lockdown restrictions are continuously easing, it would be expected that these duties will returnBenefitsOpportunity to work at one of the UK's largest FE / HE colleges£10.92 per hour36 hours per week as standard (Mon - Fri) 8.30am - 4.30pmCanteen Free on site parking Campus bus service available Some home working also availableRequirements Hold a relevant professional qualification - level 3 and above2 years plus training and/or administrative environmentEnglish and Maths GCSE grade C or above A minimum of at least 1 year recent experience working with young adults aged between 16 - 24Experience using Microsoft Office applications for example outlook, excel and wordExperience of compliance regulations or Department for the Economy operational guidelines that govern training and apprenticeship programmesExperience of employer engagementExperience of mentoringThe post holder will be required to travel to sites across Northern Ireland on a daily / weekly basisCandidates will be subject to enhanced vetting and compliance due to the nature of this workResponsibilitiesEnsure that learners are enrolled on the correct programme and any barriers to success are identified and that remedial actions are agreed and followed upEnsure learners receive a full induction onto their programme and know how to access and obtain supportTo ensure learners understand and can apply all relevant College policies and procedures to include Health & Safety, Safeguarding and Welfare, Data Protection, Whistleblowing and comply with procedures contained within the Student College HandbookProcess all the necessary documentation for learners appropriate to relevant DfE Training Programmes including, but not exclusively, Personal Training Plans, Delivery agreements, Insurance, Equal Opportunities, H&S, Induction and review / progressLiaise with Professional & Technical and essential skills tutors on the completion of Personal Training Plans and forward originals to the TMS administration team. Reviews and updates must also be forwarded accordinglyEnsure the accurate and timely submission of learner timesheets and take appropriate action where necessary to include course team, learner, parent and employerGenerate and contribute to the Personal Training Plan throughout the learner journey programme, recording progress with both learner and employerArrange appropriate workplace training/employment for learners in line with programme guidelines and / or other college staffEnsure employer's understanding of their roles / responsibilities in the training programme processConfirm workplace buddy / mentor and employer input into Personal Training ProgrammeResponsible for work placements in line with Access NI arrangements Full job description available for suitable candidatesRandstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
