The opportunityThe Finance and Procurement role is part of the Account Management office for Existing Business in Atos BPS IT & Change. The role holder will work closely with the Programme and Project Managers and the account leadership team to ensure financials are forecasted, tracked and reported on accurately to senior management, and procurement activities are managed end to end. This role is a backfill for someone currently in post who is leaving the business.Job Location: UK Wide (You can work from any location across UK, either Work from home (or) Atos Office in that particular location)Your day-to-day responsibilities include:Financials:Develop and maintain a consolidated finance picture across Client Account, with detailed understanding of current and projected financesSupport PMs and the account leadership in financial planning and managementMaintain E2E Process agreement with FinanceMaintain structure and ownership list of all Client Account WBS codes. Ensure there are forecasts against each code in use and implement regular forecast reviewsDevelop and maintain yearly/ bi-yearly budgets with project teams and BAUMaintain updated position of programme to plan v budgets. Implement temperature checks on potential overspend and opportunities to saveMonth end: Produce Finance report and pack and support senior management’s approval decisionsOwn Third Party Charging ProcessAlign with Resource Manager on Subcontractor extension process, to ensure continuity of resources to support deliveryGovernance:Maintain BPS Finance Issues logInput monthly to Compliance Review trackerDevelop and Maintain BAU Finance Governance PackSupport Change Control and other governance processes, providing regular and ad hoc reporting and inputs as neededProvide financial assurance and checks during project service acceptanceProcurement:Procurement support to PMs and senior stakeholdersProcurement process end-to-end management, including management of application and software licensesProvision of invoicing and purchase order services, working with AMO Support Officer Signs of successTo be successful in this role, you’ll need a rich combination of experience, proven skills and personal attributes.
