Cambridge
We are offering a unique opportunity for a dual-specialist Science Teacher to mentor two high-ability learners within a premier independent specialist setting. This is not a traditional "supply" role; it is a long-term academic partnership where you will have total curriculum ownership, selecting the exam boards and specifications that best suit your students' profiles.
Your Responsibilities
- Academic Dual-Specialism: Full responsibility for the planning and delivery of A-Level Chemistry and A-Level Physics.
- Curriculum Design: Complete autonomy to choose the exam board/specification you feel is most effective for these learners.
- Specialist Mentorship: Expertly adapt high-level academic content for students with Autism and SEMH needs, utilising a supportive, low-arousal approach.
- Resource Management: Collaborate with a dedicated Science Technician and a classroom TA to facilitate high-level practical experiments in fully equipped labs.
- Progress Oversight: Conduct rigorous assessment and tracking to support Local Authority reviews for Year 12 and 13.
What You'll Bring to the Team
- A-Level Mastery: Proven experience delivering A-Level Chemistry and Physics is mandatory.
- SEN Fluency: A background in supporting Autism/SEMH, ideally within a specialist or independent environment.
- Professional Status: QTS is preferred, though we welcome applications from highly experienced specialists from FE/HE or Independent school backgrounds.
- Bespoke Delivery: The ability to build deep intellectual rapport in a 1:2 setting.
Why Partner with Randstad?
- Elite PAYE Rates: £150 - £220 per day.

- Focused Environment: Move away from the "behavior management" of mainstream schools and focus entirely on subject mastery.
- Expert Onboarding: Work with Neeraj, your dedicated consultant, who will manage your trial day logistics and provide personalised support.
