We are looking for a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with additional learning needs in a specialist education setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support

• Assist students with learning, well-being, and independence

• Support classroom activities, educational visits, and community-based learning

• Help manage resources and maintain a safe learning environment

• Record student progress and assist with administrative tasks

Requirements

• Experience working with children or young people preferred

• Patient, resilient, and able to work as part of a team

• Willingness to support personal care and behaviour needs where required

• Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being
