The Role
SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Cranleigh, Surrey
Full-Time |Permanent| Monday-Friday | 08:30am - 4:15pm
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
... Support students on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning activities
Encourage communication, independence and life skills development
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Help facilitate community-based learning and work-related experiences
Work closely with teachers, therapists and families
Provide personal care support when required

What We're Looking For
We're seeking individuals who are:
Patient, resilient and compassionate
Strong communicators and team players
Experienced within SEN, education, childcare, social care or similar support environments
Able to support students with complex communication and behavioural needs
Essential Requirements
UK-based experience is required
Minimum 3-12 months' experience in SEN, education, childcare, social care or a transferable support role
No criminal convictions or reprimands
Right to work in the UK or a valid visa
A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
