Responsibilities- Provide personalised guidance for students with additional learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
- Facilitate targeted learning activities in small groups to enhance literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Implement positive behaviour strategies in alignment with individual education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teaching staff and the SENCo to monitor and record student progress.
- Modify teaching materials and sensory tools to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Proven experience working with children in an educational, care, or youth coaching setting.
- Strong, empathetic communication skills.
- Resilience and the ability to thrive in a dynamic classroom environment.
- Valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to process one immediately.
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or a relevant degree (e.g., Psychology, Education) is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with SEN frameworks such as PECS, Makaton, or Team-Teach is desirable.
- Competitive compensation: £90.00 to £105.00 per day (Weekly Pay).
