We are currently recruiting a dedicated Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional learning needs. Responsibilities- Provide dedicated, personalised guidance for students with additional learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
- Lead and facilitate targeted learning activities for small groups to enhance literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Implement positive behaviour strategies in accordance with Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCo to record student progress and adapt teaching materials to unique learning styles.
- Foster an inclusive and safe classroom environment that encourages student engagement.
- Proven experience in an educational, care, or youth coaching setting.
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic and professional approach.
- Resilience and flexibility to adapt to a dynamic classroom environment.
- An Enhanced DBS check or the immediate willingness to process one.
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or a relevant degree is considered an asset.
- Competitive compensation of £90.00 - £105.00 per day with weekly pay.
