Are you a compassionate, dynamic leader in social care? We are seeking a dedicated Senior Autism Practitioner to lead a team supporting over 48 autistic adults across housing support, residential, and transitional services.
The Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will coach, mentor, and lead a team of Autism Practitioners to deliver exceptional, outcome-based care. Responsibilities include service planning, recruitment, multi-agency collaboration, safeguarding, and maintaining robust digital records. You will also participate in the regular on-call rota.
What You'll Need
- Experience: Background in supporting autistic individuals alongside supervisory/management experience in social care.
- Skills: Excellent communication, IT proficiency (MS Word/Excel), and strong coaching abilities.
- Qualifications: SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care and Leadership/Management qualification (or willingness to complete, fully funded).
- Requirements: Full UK driving licence, SSSC registration, and PVG scheme membership.
