Do you possess the resilience and heart to transform the lives of vulnerable young people?
If you are an aspiring or experienced practitioner looking for a role where every interaction carries purpose, we want to hear from you. Our client is a leading specialist provider in Scotland, dedicated to supporting young people as they navigate social, emotional, and neurodiverse challenges.
The "Extraordinary" Factor: This is more than a supervisory role. You are the architect of a safe haven. Whether it is a quiet conversation at dinner or celebrating a milestone achievement, you are providing the stability these young people need to flourish.
The Rewards
Competitive Package: Earn a base salary up to £29,464, with additional sleep-in allowances projected to add over £8,000 to your annual earnings.
A Warm Welcome: Benefit from an initial joining bonus and a lucrative referral scheme for bringing other talented professionals into the fold.
Commitment to Growth: Access industry-leading training and specialist qualifications to sharpen your clinical and leadership skills.
Wellbeing First: Comprehensive 24/7 support networks and hardship grants to ensure you are as cared for as the young people you support.
Your Influence and Responsibilities
Lead by Example: Coordinate high-standard, 24-hour care within a nurturing residential environment.
Holistic Support: Guide young people through daily routines, from educational support to community-based activities, fostering true independence.
Create Home: Ensure the living environment remains warm, structured, and safe, adhering to the highest National Care Standards.
Build Trust: Develop deep, professional bonds with service users to help them process trauma and manage complex emotional needs.
Collaborative Excellence: Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to maintain a proactive and therapeutic atmosphere.
What We Look For
The Character: You are patient, empathetic, and outcomes-focused. While experience in residential childcare is a significant advantage, we value transferable skills from education, healthcare, or community services.
The Credentials: You must be willing to undergo an enhanced PVG check. An SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is highly desirable, though we offer the training path to achieve this.
The Commitment: A flexible approach to scheduling, including sleep-ins and weekends, is essential to providing the continuity our young people deserve.
