The Role:
As a Social Worker within the Neighbourhood Team, you will be at the heart of the community. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Managing a diverse and complex caseload within the local neighbourhood.
- Carrying out comprehensive Care Act assessments and reviews.
- Developing and implementing personalized, strength-based care and support plans.
- Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, health professionals, and community partners to ensure holistic support.
- Managing safeguarding enquiries and ensuring the protection of vulnerable individuals.
- Promoting independence, well-being, and social inclusion for residents in Bolton.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualifications: A recognized Social Work degree (BA/BSc/MA or equivalent).
- Registration: Active registration with Social Work England (SWE).
- Experience: Proven post-qualifying experience in statutory social work (ideally within community or neighbourhood teams).
- Skills: Excellent communication, a strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, and the ability to manage complex cases effectively.
- Mobility: A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is highly desirable for community visits.
