As a Senior/Lead Custom Software Engineer, you will act as a technical authority and team anchor, designing and developing high-performance, custom software solutions. You will combine advanced Java engineering with Agile practices to deliver scalable applications, while taking accountability for team decisions, managing performance, and collaborating across multiple engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges.
Key ResponsibilitiesHands-on Engineering: Apply deep technical expertise to design and implement robust, scalable software components using modern frameworks.
Team Leadership: Manage and guide the immediate development team, driving code quality, taking responsibility for technical decisions, and mentoring peers.
Cross-Team Problem Solving: Engage across multiple teams and with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical strategies and resolve cross-system issues.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze complex performance bottlenecks and champion engineering best practices to optimize system reliability and development workflows.
Java Ecosystem (Advanced): Production-proven mastery of Java and the Spring Boot framework for building microservices and custom applications.
Software Engineering (Advanced): Deep knowledge of custom application development, architecture design patterns, and distributed systems.
Front-End Web Design (Intermediate): Foundational proficiency in modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript) to support full-stack integration.
Agile Collaboration: Strong experience operating within mature Agile environments, driving cross-team collaboration and delivery.
