Duties include:Manage the day to day logistics of deliveries, arranging delivery timings, etcAttend weekly sub-contractor meetingsPrepare monthly stock check of materials on site.Liaise with Buyer to identify materials requisitionsPrepare delivery schedules and ensure these are included within orders.Check daily material stock levels and ensure materials are called off in a timely manner to meet the planned installation dates.Assist Site Management with the preparation of waste management strategyEnsure that materials storage and distribution is organised and compliantEnsure all materials are stored and protected in accordance with current best practiceEnsure all required materials are planned and called off in accordance with the required programme Assist Site Management in the preparation of materials schedulesComplete materials and plant call offCommunicate delivery schedule to site teamDistribute materials on site in accordance with works package schedule.Requirements:Liaise with materials suppliers to achieve required delivery date, taking lead times into considerationPrevious experience working for a housebuilder or main contractor within a storeman or materials controller roleBuilding knowledge (through site production experience & materials control)Strong knowledge of building materialsBe well planned and organisedComputer Literate Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
