A leading specialist SEN school is hiring a dedicated Specialist Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 (KS2) department. Supporting pupils with complex Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism, and severe learning difficulties, this role offers a highly rewarding career with comprehensive training and development.
This setting is recognised for being a nurturing environment where pupils can flourish. It currently supports 150 pupils and is considered one of the leading SEN schools in the county.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored 1:1, small group, and whole-class learning support for KS2 pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) alongside class teachers to track student progress.
- Foster a safe, positive, and trauma-informed classroom environment.
- Support pupils' emotional regulation, well-being, and social development.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience working with and supporting SEN, SEMH, or EBD pupils.
- Passion for inclusive, practical, and interactive education.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Right to work in the UK (Enhanced DBS check required)
