About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and confident Support Worker to join a dedicated, consistent team providing high-quality, person-centred care for a 40-year-old gentleman.
This is a 2:1 support service tailored to an individual with autism and multiple learning disabilities. Working in a more complex care environment, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring his safety, well-being, and independence, helping him live a fulfilling life while navigating daily challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Person-Centred Support: Work closely with a colleague as part of a 2:1 team to provide a safe, stable, and predictable environment.
Complex Care: Safely manage complex behavioral and communication needs associated with autism and learning disabilities.
Personal Care: Assist with all aspects of daily personal care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
Community & Activities: Accompany and support the individual with hobbies, outdoor activities, and community outings (where applicable).
What We Are Looking For
Experience: A strong, proven background in supporting individuals with autism and multiple learning disabilities.
Confidence & Resilience: Comfort and capability working within complex, high-needs care environments.
Team Players: A reliable individual who thrives in a close-knit, consistent team setting where communication is key.
Mobility: A full UK driving licence is highly preferred to assist with transport and community access.
Note: Due to the specific needs of this service, reliability and consistency are absolutely vital for the individual's routine and peace of mind.
