Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5).
Foster a love for reading, analytical thinking, and creative expression in all students.
Assess, track, and report on student progress, using data to inform interventions and ensure no child is left behind.
Contribute to the wider life of the academy, including extracurricular clubs and whole-school literacy initiatives.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment aligned with our high behavioral expectations.
About You
We are looking for an educator who believes that every child, regardless of their background, deserves an world-class education.
To be successful, you will need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
A degree in English Literature, Language, or a closely related subject.
A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective pedagogical practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
