Randstad Education is seeking motivated and adaptable Teaching Assistants to join our busy supply team across Leeds. We provide essential support to a huge variety of primary schools, and we need you to help us make a difference.
Job Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will be the ultimate classroom all-rounder. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting individuals or small groups of students to ensure they understand and engage with their lessons.
Assisting the class teacher with classroom management and the preparation of learning resources.
Fostering an inclusive environment where children of all abilities feel supported and encouraged.
Adapting quickly to different school settings, from EYFS through to Key Stage 2.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Essential: You must have previous UK experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational setting.
A positive, proactive "can-do" attitude and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
The ability to build quick rapport with children and staff in new environments.
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to process a new one).
