Salary / Pay Rate
£14.25 per hour (Paid weekly via PAYE)
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable Teaching Assistant to work under the guidance of class teachers to support pupils' learning in Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) classrooms. You will play a vital role in keeping students engaged, managing small group interventions, and fostering a positive workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering targeted literacy and numeracy support to small groups of students.
Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation, marking support, and resource management.
Promoting positive behaviour and keeping students focused on their daily tasks.
Helping create an inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels confident.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or substantial experience in a similar educational role).
Solid understanding of the primary school curriculum and basic classroom dynamics.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
