Experienced Support Worker? Transition into SEN and reclaim your weekends.
Learning Support Worker | Cranleigh, Surrey | Monday to Friday
If you are an experienced Support Worker, you already know how rewarding this field is-but you also know how exhausting the industry-standard shift patterns can be. If you are tired of waking up for 7:00 AM weekend shifts, working late nights, or missing bank holidays, it's time to pivot your career.
We are seeking dedicated Care and Support professionals to transition into our specialised adult day service in Cranleigh, near Guildford, as Learning Support Workers.
This role allows you to utilise your existing clinical and care skills in a focused, structured, and professional environment-without sacrificing your personal life.
Why Experienced Professionals Choose This Role:
Predictable, Sociable Hours: Strictly Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. No weekends, no sleep-ins, and no evening shifts. Part-time options are also open for discussion.
Guaranteed Festive Rest: We offer 25 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays, which includes a guaranteed Christmas closure. You will never have to work Christmas Day again.
Specialised Scope of Practice: Move away from purely reactive care. Here, you will be trained to deliver creative, goal-oriented learning plans and community access initiatives specifically tailored for autistic adults.
Your Profile:
Proven experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, or Healthcare Assistant (HCA).
Confident and competent in handling complex needs, implementing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and managing personal care with the utmost dignity.
Strong communication skills, a collaborative team mindset, and a commitment to meticulous record-keeping and safeguarding (Enhanced DBS required).
To Apply or Discuss the Transition: We respect your experience and would love to fast-track your application. Contact Paul Hirchfield for a confidential, professional discussion about making the switch.
