The Opportunity
Are you a proactive and creative individual looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people? We are recruiting for a brand-new, specialist SEND school in Chaldon. This modern setting supports students aged 11-16 with social communication, emotional regulation, and sensory processing needs, typically associated with Autism.
With small class sizes and a multi-disciplinary approach, you will have the environment and resources needed to provide truly person-centred support.
The Role
This isn't just about sitting at the back of a classroom; it's about breaking down barriers to learning. You will:
Inspire Confidence: Help students discover their unique strengths and celebrate every small win.
Encourage Resilience: Support pupils in managing their emotions and developing personal growth.
Creative Support: Work alongside teachers to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
Beyond the Classroom: Assist pupils in exploring learning within the local community and developing life skills.
What We're Looking For
You don't need to be a veteran Teaching Assistant to be successful here. We value values and attitude above all else.
Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English (Level 2/Functional Skills minimum).
Mindset: A "can-do" attitude and the ability to think outside the box.
Approach: A patient, empathetic nature with a passion for supporting neurodivergent young people.
Growth: A willingness to take advantage of fully funded, nationally recognised training and qualifications.
Why Join Us?
Financial Perks: £1,000 Welcome Bonus, "Perkbox" high street discounts, and a cycle-to-work scheme.
Healthcare: Comprehensive health cash plan (dental/optical), 24/7 private GP access, and a wellness hub.
