Location: Edinburgh, Midlothian & Penicuik
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (36 hours/week, Monday-Friday)
Salary: £12.63/hr (£23,643.36/yr) rising to £12.88/hr (£24,111.36/yr) post-probation (Pay award pending backdated arrears)
Are you a compassionate social care professional looking to empower older adults to live independently? We are seeking a dedicated Tenancy Support Worker to deliver vital community-based care across Edinburgh, Midlothian, and Penicuik.
The Role
You will work directly with individuals in the community to secure and maintain stable accommodation. Key duties include:
- Assisting with housing applications, Housing Benefit, and financial grants.
- Setting up household utilities (gas, electricity, etc.).
- Providing tailored tenancy sustainment support to help individuals maintain their independence.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 6 months supporting older adults within a care setting.
- Licence & Transport: Full UK driving licence with access to a personal vehicle.
- Key Skills: Ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively across the community.
