Schedule: 36.75 hours per week (Term-time only! Enjoy 56 days of school holidays plus bank holidays)

What the Role Involves Daily
You will join a multidisciplinary team of Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Behaviour Analysts. Working in small classrooms on a 1:1 or small group basis with autistic children, you will:
Design and deliver interactive teaching sessions that focus on life skills and communication.
Apply positive reinforcement and behavioural strategies to accelerate learning and support social development.
Accompany pupils on fun, off-site community trips and recreational activities.
Assist with daily school routines, including playground socialisation, lunchtime, and personal/intimate care where required.
Who We Are Looking For
You do not need a teaching license. We are looking for potential, empathy, and resilience.
Experience: Professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with children or individuals with disabilities (e.g., support work, care assistants, tutoring, volunteering, or nursery work).
Education: Minimum Grade C/4 GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths.
Mindset: A calm, level-headed approach to high-pressure situations and an ability to confidently manage dysregulated behaviours.
Fitness: Ready for a physically active role that involves plenty of movement, stooping, and working at lower heights.
