- Manage the Group's daily cash position, ensuring sufficient liquidity is available to meet operational requirements.
- Prepare and review daily cash balances, funding requirements and cash movements across multiple bank accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliations, investigate and resolve reconciling items, and ensure treasury records remain accurate and complete.
- Support the preparation and ongoing maintenance of short-, medium- and long-term cash flow forecasts, working closely with FP&A and business stakeholders.
- Produce regular treasury reporting and management information, including liquidity, cash flow and banking metrics, providing clear insights to senior management.
- Build strong relationships with teams across Finance and the wider business to improve cash forecasting accuracy and drive effective working capital management.
- Support treasury governance by maintaining appropriate controls, procedures and documentation.
- Assist with ad hoc treasury projects, process improvements and system enhancements as required.
Skills & experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Experience in treasury, financial accounting or a similar finance role with exposure to cash management.
- Strong understanding of cash management, bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across Finance and the wider business.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience of treasury management systems and ERP platforms would be advantageous.
- Proactive, organised and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
