Randstad has over 660 tutors trained to deliver on the National Tutoring Programme (NTP). The National Tutoring Programme (NTP) assists schools by offering high-quality tutoring to students whose education has been harmed by the Covid-19 epidemic. Tutoring can enhance development by up to five months, according to research, and it is one of the most effective strategies for supporting learning and accelerating pupil growth.

Randstad will ensure that all tutors complete any necessary/specific NTP training which will be recorded on our front office system as part of our commitment to continuous high-quality tuition.

Our tutors can deliver with your guidance:

  • Face to face/online tuition
  • Delivering teaching/tuition in various settings; 1:1/1:2/1:3
  • History of identifying need, knowledge gaps, completing assessments, adapting programs to suit pupils needs and learning styles

When allocating a tutor to provide support to a pupil we want to ensure this is built to be personal to each pupil and we, therefore, consider the following when allocating a tutor to a pupil:

  • Qualifications - all are experienced teaching assistants or qualified teachers
  • Backgrounds
  • Experience/skill set
  • Personality and preferences
  • Learning style
  • Key stage
  • Availability

Information will be complete and reviews into available tutors will take place, selecting the most appropriate based on the information provided by the school/pupil including skills, experience, knowledge, personality fit, availability, subject and any other factors. If a student is studying a particular technical subject, we will seek to identify a tutor with the same/similar subject background to ensure the student receives the highest level of support.
