What You'll Be Doing

You will be at the forefront of protecting and supporting vulnerable adults within the community. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Leading and contributing to complex safeguarding inquiries and risk management.
• Conducting robust, person-centered assessments to determine care, support, and mental capacity needs.
• Utilizing the Mosaic database to accurately record case notes, assessments, and safeguarding documentation.
• Travelling across the local area to meet service users, conducting face-to-face visits and interventions.

The Non-Negotiables

To ensure a smooth and immediate start, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Qualified Social Worker: Valid registration with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council).
• Safeguarding Experience: Proven track record of handling adult safeguarding cases and Section 42 inquiries.
• Driver: Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle for work purposes.
• Availability: Ready to start ASAP or on a very short notice period.
