We are expanding our core Platform team and looking for two Senior Engineers to help us build a high-priority, high-impact privacy and compliance platform. If you have strong Java skills and love working on large-scale infrastructure or data systems, this role is for you.

The Core Mission: Translating Law into Code

This team owns the engineering side of data governance, user data retention, and privacy encryption. You will be building entirely new systems from scratch to meet upcoming global regulations. A major part of this role involves translating complex legal requirements into scalable technical architecture.

Heavily Focused on Infrastructure & New Delivery

• No Routine Maintenance: This is a capacity-driven hire to boost delivery speed on a major new project cycle starting in mid-August.

• High Autonomy: You won't just be picking up tickets; you will actively contribute to core technical decisions, system architecture, and RFC documents.

• Platform/Data Hat: While this is a backend Java role, the team works heavily with large-scale data infrastructure. Candidates who come from a Java background but have moved heavily into data infrastructure or platform engineering are an excellent fit.

The Tech Stack

• Primary Language: Java (Strong, production-level expertise required).

• Cloud & Data Ecosystem: 100% Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with data living natively in GCS and BigQuery.

• Nice-to-Have: Familiarity or experience with Scala is a huge plus.
