About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and methodical Calibration Engineer to join a global medical device company as a part of their technical team. If you possess a profound commitment to technical precision and rigorous quality standards, this role offers an opportunity to serve as a cornerstone of operational excellence. You will be responsible for ensuring that all measurement systems strictly adhere to the highest levels of accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Role Details:
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Contract Length: 12 Months
Key Responsibilities
- Perform expert-level calibration, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs on sophisticated measurement and test instrumentation.
- Execute advanced metrology procedures to validate equipment reliability against rigorous international and internal benchmarks.
- Oversee comprehensive documentation, including the rigorous management of calibration records and certificates of conformance.
- Diagnose complex measurement discrepancies and implement precise corrective actions to guarantee total instrument integrity.
- Collaborate directly with quality assurance leadership to maintain stringent industry-specific standards.
- Manage laboratory operations, including the strategic oversight of primary reference standards and specialised calibration inventory.
