Key Responsibilities
- Deliver effective, child-centred social care to children looked after across the borough.
- Form meaningful, trusting relationships with children, young people, and their families.
- Manage complex cases using evidence-based practice and robust risk assessments.
- Collaborate closely with multi-agency partners to ensure high-quality care planning and stability for care-experienced youth.
- Participate actively in team learning, supervision, and ongoing service improvement initiatives.
Who We Are Looking For
- Qualified Social Worker: Degree in Social Work (or equivalent) with active Social Work England registration.
- Experienced Practitioner: Proven post-qualification experience working with children looked after or within statutory children's social care.
- Great Communicator: Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with children, families, and colleagues.
- Outcome-Driven: A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and helping shape the future of our service.
