Are you a talented Secondary Maths Teacher seeking a predictable short-term block booking in Chelmsford for the second half of the autumn term?
Randstad Education is currently partnering with a modern, high-achieving all-through academy in North Chelmsford to recruit a dedicated Mathematics Specialist. This full-time teaching placement covers the entire half-term block leading up to the Christmas break, with paid trial days scheduled for upcoming Fridays to ensure a smooth transition.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 following national curriculum standards.
- Maintain excellent classroom management and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
- Execute assessments, track progress, and provide constructive feedback across your timetable for the 7-week placement.
- Attend a paid trial day on an upcoming Friday to meet the department and familiarise yourself with the school environment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (ECTs and experienced teachers welcomed).
- Proven track record of delivering KS3/KS4 Mathematics.
- Active Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or readiness to process one immediately).
- Full availability from 2nd November to 18th December, plus availability for an immediate Friday trial day.
