The Role & Responsibilities
As the Registered Care Manager, you will hold overall responsibility for the operational success and regulatory compliance of the service. You will lead the care and office teams, ensure high-quality care delivery, manage service development, and maintain excellent standards in line with SSSC and Care Inspectorate guidelines
Essential Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Professional Registration: You must be fully qualified and currently registered as a Care Manager with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
Experience: You must be highly experienced in managing social care/homecare services, with a strong, proven track record
Right to Work (CRITICAL): You must hold permanent, restriction-free Right to Work in the UK. Due to a lost license, no sponsorship or visa transfers are possible under any circumstances
Preferred Profile: Due to specific service requirements and local ties, the client is highly preferring an experienced, locally established/Scottish male candidate for this particular position
Transport & Travel
Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are strictly required for this position
Coverage: You will be supporting and overseeing care runs across the City of Edinburgh and Midlothian (including EH3, EH4, EH5, EH10, EH16, EH17, and Midlothian)
