The BTEC Introductory qualification in construction, either diploma or certificate, is a widely accepted qualification for bricklayers in the UK. Most employers also require a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) to assure them of your safety working on construction sites. You can learn bricklaying through an apprenticeship programme or courses in trowel occupations.
