Your Role and Responsibilities* Oversee daily operational management to maintain exemplary care standards aligned with National Care Standards and SSSC requirements.
* Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing residential support team to ensure consistency and stability for the young people in your care.
* Design and implement individualized care, health, and education strategies tailored to each child's therapeutic needs.
* Champion youth participation by establishing clear channels for children to actively shape their care experiences.
* Safeguard service users by driving rigorous child protection protocols, resolving complex care issues, and managing statutory compliance.
* Cultivate collaborative working relationships with multidisciplinary networks, local authorities, and family groups.
What We Need From You* Qualifications: SVQ Level 4 / SCQF Level 9 in Children and Young People, along with an HNC or academic equivalent meeting SSSC registration standards.
* SSSC Compliance: Completion of, or active progression toward, required management or professional care qualifications (e.g., PDA or BA Hons in Social Care) with fewer than 6 months remaining.
* Track Record: Proven leadership experience as an Assistant Manager (minimum 2 years) or at least 4 years of residential care experience featuring significant supervisory responsibilities.
* Technical & Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of childcare legislation, including GIRFEC, the Children (Scotland) Act 1995, and the principles of The Promise.
* Driving Status: A full UK driving licence is mandatory.
