Role Purpose
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will align people strategies with organizational goals, serving as a strategic advisor to leadership. You will drive business performance through expert guidance on workforce planning, change management, and talent development in a complex, multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory: Partner with senior leaders to design HR strategies, manage organizational change, and provide guidance on complex employee relations.
Performance & ER: Lead high-level investigations and disciplinary matters while coaching managers on performance, accountability, and fair practice.
Talent & Engagement: Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning; drive initiatives focused on inclusion, wellbeing, and leadership capability.
Data-Driven Insight: Use HR analytics and turnover/engagement metrics to identify trends and recommend data-backed improvements.
Operational Excellence: Collaborate with Recruitment and Reward teams to deliver integrated HR solutions and ensure legislative compliance.
Requirements
Experience: Proven track record in a senior HR Business Partnering or Advisory role within a large, complex organization.
Expertise: Strong grasp of employment law, change management, and organizational development.
Soft Skills: Exceptional influencing and communication skills with the ability to build credibility at the executive level.
Analytical Ability: Skilled at using workforce data to solve problems and inform strategy.
Sector Knowledge: Experience in construction, engineering, or project-based industries is a plus.
Qualifications
Degree: HR, Business, or related field (Essential).
CIPD: Professional accreditation or equivalent (Desirable).
Development: Commitment to ongoing professional learning.
