Job Title: Social Sciences Teacher (Psychology & Sociology Specialist)
Salary/Rate: £150 - £210 per day
Location: Chelmsford area, Essex
Are you an enthusiastic Social Sciences Specialist aiming to teach across KS4 and Sixth Form?
Randstad Education is actively sourcing talented Psychology, Sociology, and Politics Teachers for high-performing secondary academies in the Chelmsford region. This position is ideal for subject specialists eager to focus on GCSE and A-Level delivery within supportive, modern department environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach GCSE and linear A-Level Psychology and/or Sociology to Key Stage 4 and 5 cohorts.
- Plan and deliver rigorous academic content structured to maximise examination performance (AQA/OCR exam boards).
- Provide academic mentoring, UCAS application support, and guidance to Sixth Form students.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or specialised FE teaching credential alongside a relevant degree.
- Proven experience delivering Social Sciences at GCSE and A-Level standard.
- Mandatory UK Right to Work and an active Enhanced DBS check.
