Pay Rates: £14 - £16 per hour.
Your Role & Impact
- Direct Advocacy: Deliver compassionate day-to-day care and mentor-ship to vulnerable children and young people.
- Positive Intervention: Manage complex emotional, learning, and behavioural challenges with patience, de-escalation skills, and empathy.
- Safeguarding First: Actively protect and promote the safety and overall well-being of the individuals in your care.
- Team Integration: Partner seamlessly with an internal multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care plans are met.
- Clear Reporting: Keep precise records and maintain proactive, transparent communication with families, colleagues, and external agencies.
The Criteria
- UK Experience: At least 6 months of paid experience in a UK childcare or youth support setting.
- Specialist Background: Direct experience supporting youth facing emotional, behavioural, or learning difficulties (including challenging behaviour).
- Credentials: A current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service and the valid Right to Work in the UK.
- Licensing: A full UK Driving License is essential for this role.
- Attributes: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-moving environment.
