Key Responsibilities
- Delivering tailored support in residential children's homes and community environments.
- Assisting young people with educational and leisure activities (sports, parks, social trips).
- Supporting family contact sessions and mother-and-baby support services.
- Assisting children experiencing mental health difficulties, childhood trauma, or emotional-behavioural challenges in packages of care and residential settings.
- Maintaining clear boundaries and practising trauma-informed care daily.
Applicant Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working with children or young adults in complex care settings.
- Experience managing challenging behaviour or supporting complex needs (e.g., Autism, CAMHS, forensic settings, or rehabilitation).
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and emotional awareness.
- Resilience, strong communication skills, and professional boundaries.
